Bax inhibitor 1 (BI-1)

The study of ER stress regulator, BAX Inhibitor-1-associated cancer metastasis In this investigation our focus was to understand the critical characteristics of BAX Inhibitor-1 or Transmembrane Bax Inhibitor Motif-containing 6 (TMBIM6) as a cancer metastasis-associated protein. Under this we have taken studies on

BI-1 controls CYP2E1 expression and is associated with NADPH-dependent CYP reductase(CPR), reducing the activity of CYP2E1 and the releasable Ca2+ from ER.

Development of diabetic target substances

In Diabetes pathophysiology, we have a purpose to document the role of ER stress and its associated mechanism. Through this study, we want to suggest therapeutic strategy and understanding for diabetes and it complications.

To study cardiac ischemia-ROS and ER stress in diabetic cardiovascular diseases? To suggest ER stress regulator mechanism in diabetes complication diseases-associated cell system ? To apply active compounds for diabetic complication diseases The study of ER stress and its regulator in diabetic complication diseases.

BI-1 antagonist as anti-cancer agent

In this study, anti-cancer agent candidates would be developed based upon the accumulated data of BI-1 protein, itself. Also, BI-1 basic function was studied and chemical library was used for the development of BI-1 antagonist.

Stress transduction

Aimed to understand the stress signaling's meaning and pathways through the degradation of protein disulphide isomerase (PDI), a representative stress responsive chaperone protein.

IRE-1α Signal Controlling Technologies

To understand the IRE-1α Signaling and its cross link with the ER stress which will lead us to development of ER stress platform.

ER stress and UPR response

Focus on focuses on ER stress signal transduction pathways involved in transducing the unfolded protein signal from the ER to other cellular organelles.

Molecular biology

Molecular characterization of ER stress regulators for better understanding ER stress and UPR functioning in development, progression pathology of diverse diseases.

Drug development

Our research focus is on integrated approach where basic and preclinical investigations integrated for breakthrough in the development of medicine.

Diverse Approach

Addition to unique laboratory level equipment’s we have state of the art facility for animal experiments including mouse, rats, rabbit and zebra fish for better understand through in vivo investigations.

Team work

Our integrated team seek ideas and execute with precision to achieve the goal contributing to science.

Science needs to be discussed and shared. Thus, our active network strengthen the quality of research and reach to wide research community.
